Saxony
Saxony is known as the cultural capital of Germany. Bordered by the Czech Republic and Poland Saxony is one of Germany’s hidden gems. Often forgotten by tourists, this little corner of Germany is well worth exploring.

Saxony has played a major role in the development of art, music, German and European history and technology. It was once the home of Wagner and Bach; it is where the world’s first porcelain was made; it has glorious castles, palaces and gardens; there is a sense of days gone by with steam trains and historic paddle boats, while at the same time the state is home to one of the most cutting edge technologically advance automotive brands in the world – Porsche.
